Big Bear Confectionery, owner of the iconic Poppets brand, is launching a range of exciting new products and packaging this summer, to offer solutions for every snacking occasion.
This May will see the launch of a new Poppets Snack Pack multipack – ten individual 25g bags containing two of the nation’s favourite Poppets flavours: Chewy Toffee covered in milk chocolate and Mint Creams covered in dark chocolate.
In response to the growing demand for sharing bags, the new Poppets Snack Packs will be joined by new 250g resealable stand-up Doy bags in July. As well as offering consumers greater value, the new packs are designed to benefit retailers by making more efficient use of shelf space and will offer greater on-shelf appeal, to help drive sales. The new designs will sit alongside the existing range of 154g gift boxes and the iconic 40g boxes.

With research by Kantar revealing that in the past four years, sharing occasions with five or more people consuming chocolate have risen 27%, our new 250g Doy bags have been developed to respond to this, as well as giving us the opportunity to reformat the packs to work better for retailers in store.”
